How does the online verification of identity (VOI) work?
We offer a convenient online verification process for verifying your identity, which complies with Australian conveyancing laws. This can be done through secure digital platforms, or, if you prefer, face-to-face verification is also available.
What is a ``turn`` in contract negotiations, and how many do I get?
A “turn” refers to a round of contract negotiations between the buyer’s and seller’s legal representatives. Each time proposed changes are exchanged, reviewed, and responded to, it counts as one turn. Your conveyancing package includes:
- Essential Package: 1 turn
- Premium Package: 3 turns
- Elite Package: 5 turns
If further negotiations are needed beyond your package limit, additional turns can be purchased separately.
Do I need multiple turns, or is one enough?
For straightforward transactions, one turn may be sufficient. However, if your contract has complex terms—such as price adjustments, special conditions, or unique clauses—additional turns provide more flexibility to negotiate better terms. If you’re unsure, our team can guide you to the best option for your situation.
Are there any additional costs outside the listed package prices?
The package prices cover our services and legal fees, but additional costs such as GST, government fees, duties, and certain disbursements may apply. We aim for transparent pricing, so any potential extra costs will be communicated upfront.
Can I get support post-settlement?
Yes, our Premium and Elite packages include post-settlement support to help with any follow-up questions or issues. The Premium package offers one month of support, while the Elite package provides up to three months of post-settlement assistance.
